5 Android Jellybean 4.2 Features You Should Not Miss
Android Jellybean 4.2 is packed with full of new features, some of which are minor features like Settings button under Notification drawer and major feature like the Photo Sphere. In this post, I’m going to list out the top 5 features of Android 4.2 that you shouldn’t miss. These are the top and improved features that I chose from the list of many features.
Lock screen Widgets
Widgets are the key feature of Android, that improved it’s experience. Up till the last version of Android, users were limited to the use of Widgets only on Home screens Now you can add widgets to the lock screen as well. You can enable this feature from Security Options. You can add widgets like Gmail and Calender and also open your favorite apps just by swiping (Lock screen Shortcuts).

Jellybean Day Dreams
This is a new screensaver mode that Android Jellybean introduced. When your phone is charging or docked, it will enter to this mode where it will show screensaver. But, Google doesn’t call this “Screensaver”. It’s called Jellybean DayDreams. This is a secret feature and you can enable this with little effort.

Developers Option
Developer Option in Android, is an important spot for Developers who like to dabble with their phones. In Jellybean, there are some additional options under Developers Option. Before using these options, you have to enable this feature from “Settings”.

Photo Sphere
Photo Sphere is another new feature in Android 4.2 that allows you to take 360-degree panoramic photos. Once you have properly taken the photo, you have created the Photo Sphere, which can be viewed by using the built in gyroscope on your mobile. You can also upload the Photo Sphere to Google maps, if you want to make it available for the Maps users.

Improved Photo Editing
Photo Editor in the previous versions of Android was not up to mark, and sometimes made the edited snap look worse than the original one. With Android 4.2, you get improved features. In the new photo editor, Swipe gesture is enabled. You can make use of swipe gestures for better editing experience.
